This is the original cover illustration for the realist, non-science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick originally written in 1958, and published posthumously by Dragon Press 1985, in an edition limited to 1050 (see published cover for reference).  This is a portrait of PKD by Shaw, hand-painted in acrylic monochrome black-and-white, on board 12"  x 8.5"and signed by Shaw bottom left in logo initials, and also credited to him on the book's back jacket flap.   The painting comes with the paste-up for the book, 23" x 13.5".  We are able to offer both items because Dragon Press was owned by David Hartwell, and these works come from his estate.   This is a rare opportunity for PKD fans!
