This is an original painting commissioned by the British company long known for its juice drinks, and mixers - for an advertisement for its "Tropical Fruit Juice" circa late 1970s.  We know the date because the Brit Vic brand did not come into existence until 1971 (it was originally founded in the 1930s as the British Vitamin Products Company, producing fruit juices in 1938)  This was a very popular advert for them, even used for coasters - see photo (they call them "beermats"!) Hand-painted in gouache on artboard, 24" x 16" with some discoloration to the paint bottom center and some spots near the border.
