This is one of two cover paintings created for Epicurean Magazine, this one for issue #90 circa 1980-81.  (I show the cover of the magazine for reference) Haberfield was born in Sydney Australia, so it would be only natural and fitting that he would commissioned to produce art by this magazine - it was not only the first Australian magazine devoted entirely to food and wine (started 1966), but also renowned for its award-winning graphic cover imagery.  Painted in gouache on artboard, 18" x 14".
