This is the original vintage cover painting used on the cover of H. P. Lovecraft's "Dagon and Other Macabre Tales" edited by August Derleth, and published as part of the Panther Horror line of books, 1st paperback printing, 1973. (I show the published cover for reference).  One of Haberfield's most memorable illustrations, stunning in conception and execution, hand-painted in gouache on artboard, bottom left corner bumped, 15.25" x 13".
