We are not sure when this painting was commissioned; it may have been produced as an alternate cover for the collection of science fiction stories written by Brian Aldiss.(see the art by Haberfield that Panther used on its edition from 1973) or created for use on a different edition.   In any event,  we have as yet been unable to source publication for this incredible image - a marvelous example of Haberfield's imagination, Hand-painted in gouache on artboard, 15.75" x 12.75"
