This is the Original cover painting for the 32nd book in Piers Anthony's long-running and highly popular Xanth series of novels  - and certainly one of the most amusing!  Total visual fun in every detail and wonderful characters, including the bird!  DKS did most of Anthony's covers in that series, and  none have been available for years - so now's the time to pick your favorite!  This one, like others, published by Tor, 1995  (book  shown for reference only).  Painted in acrylic on gypsum board, 24" x 32"  and signed "DKS"  bottom right plus signed and titled on the reverse.
