This is the original cover painting created by Ruddell to illustrate the cover of Book 3 in the "Nightrunner" series of fantasy novels by Lynn Flewelling,  published by Bantam Books in paperback, 1999 (see published cover for reference) Handpainted in oils on canvas mounted on wood panel, 28" x 22" and signed by Gary bottom left   It also comes custom framed, see photo.   One of his most dramatic and colorful illustrations, very fine.
