This is the original preliminary artwork created for a Regency Romance novel, likely published late 1970s when Sweet was creating similar cover illustrations for Popular Library; regrettably the information on the back gives no clues to the title or author!  Whether or not sharp eyes uncover the published title, this is a very sweet (no pun intended!) painting, in acrylics on illustration board, 7" x 4.25"
