This is the original preliminary artwork created for the fantasy novel by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, published by Pocket Books in hardcover, 2000 (I show the published cover for reference) This is a very fine prelim: Detailed, colorful, and practically a miniature version of the final painting reproduced on the cover.  Hand-painted in acrylics on gypsum board, 7.5" x 5.5" - and is titled and signed on the back.
