This is an original cover painting for the well-known alternate history novel by Harry Turtledove, published by Book Club Associates (BCA) 1997.  If the South had won, one of their soldiers might well have looked like this!   Intense, and packs a wallop in acrylic on illustration board, 15" x 10"  signed.
