The Peregrine has few predators, but one of them is the Great Horned Qwl, who hunts her at night, when she is asleep in the woodlands of Bolivia. Brilliantly painted in oil on unstretched canvas, about 9" x 21" panoramic format, this scene appears on pages 28-29 of "The Peregrine's Journey: A Story of Migration" by Madeleine Dunphy, published by Web of Life Children's books, reprint of the original book first published 2000. All illustrations in the book are by Kristin, and each is a beautiful work of art.
