Completed 2019, Kristin describes her painting as "A woodland Faun and his long-eared fellows (related, I'm sure, to rabbits and hares!) take a leisurely— perhaps noisy— stroll through the undergrowth of the forest, among the aconite and jack-in-the-pulpit, ferns, mushrooms, acorns and leaves. A startled stag beetle flies off in search of some peace and quiet. . . .. disturbed by this celebration of young adulthood -  the simple adolescent joy and discovery of growing up."   It's a lovely fantastical scene in Oil on canvas,  signed,  24" x 18", and comes framed in a simple and elegant Nielsen metal frame in German Silver, ready to hang.
