This is an original painting, the preliminary artwork created for an interior published in "The Talisman" by Stephen King, the illustrated Donald M Grant Edition. 1984.   Painted in acrylic on illustration board, 30" x 40" unframed. Note: there are some very light scribble marks top left next to kneeling creature, looks to be crayon (?), not sure if they are intentional - but in any event they don't detract from the visual effect of the image.  Don't believe this one is signed, if it is not, it will be accompanied by a letter attesting authenticity from his widow.
