This is an original painting, likely created (and possibly used) as an interior illustration, for a project unknown, late 1980s.  My guess is for a title published by Underwood-Miller.  Very appealing and interestingly rendered in oil mainly monochrome on hardboard, 16" x 20" - unsigned with notation of title on the back.   The female figure is reminiscent of other characters Ned has painted, I'm hoping a collector will identify this one for me!
