This is an original painting, a major work likely created as an interior illustration for a publication by Underwood-Miller - but I have been unable to source the publication - and am hoping a reader will help with identification!  It is undated but most likely was created mid 1980s to early 90s, and carries a clue to publication on the reverse.....a caption written by Ned which reads "Five days on, still it seemed no closer" - probably alluding to the temple depicted in the painting.    Handpainted in oil on canvas, 46.25" x 30.25" - this is a major work - and is signed bottom right.
