This is an original interior illustration featured in Anne McCaffrey's "The Coelura" - the hardcover edition fully illustrated by Ned published by Underwood in 1987.  This illustration appeared on page 3 (unpaginated) and is done in pen and ink on paper mounted to board, 30" x 20".   There is some spotting and speckles of paint in the background - it's possible that these can be removed by a restorer; the price reflects those issues.  Nevertheless this is a very handsome work, one of many interiors he created for this book - of which perhaps half a dozen remain available.
