Richard Bober: Fantastic Alice Study: Caterpillar and Alice

Original study, created c. 1993, during a time when Richard was working out ideas for characters to include in his commissioned cover painting for Fantastic Alice, by Margaret Weiss, published by Ace Books in the 1st ed paperback,1995.    Richard created several studies for this book - a project which engaged him for months, and resulted in an extraordinary cover painting in oils 5' x 3' (long sold) This study was done in graphite, inks and oil on canvas 16" x 12".  The Estate will be providing a letter attesting to its authenticity.
