Richard Bober: Portrait of Princess Aura

For a while in the late 1990s and into the new century, Richard was obsessed with the "greats" of movie stardom, and his favorite movies and actors - including beautiful actresses.    One of them was the Italian actress Ornella Muti, who starred as "Princess Aura" - a fiction al character in the Flash Gordon movie of 1980.   This is an original portrait study of Muti as the Princess, handpainted in oil on rag paper, c. 14.5" x 11.5" and signed bottom right.  Beautifully done with gold embellishments,
