Richard Bober: Study of a Woman in Cleopatra Style

Original portrait study depicting a romanticized image of a woman, with make-up and dress suggesting ancient Egypt - "Cleopatra" style.  In the late 1990s Bober created plate designs for a Bradford Exchange collector plate commission - with the result of inspiring several studies over the course of subsequent years - all of them depicting Cleopatra but with diverse models and interpretations of her beauty.  This "Cleo" is loosely but romantically done in profile, oil on canvas 16" x 12".   The Estate will provide a letter of authenticity, but there's no doubt this is Bober's work!
