Richard Bober: The Storyteller and the Jann prelim #2

This is an original preliminary painting, one of two created in preparation for completing the final painting for Vol 2 in Stephen Goldin's Parsina Saga series of novels, published by Bantam, 1988.  This is one of a handful of Bober prelims recently discovered in my closet, each associated with final paintings I (Jane Frank) once personally owned but have since sold.  See the photo showing the published cover for reference and comparison purposes. Handpainted in oil and acrylics on watercolor paper, in perfect condition and very nicely detailed, the image is 9 1/8" x  5.5" on paper 11.25" x 7.75", and is signed by Bober bottom right in the image.
