Richard Bober: Ogre Troll Portrait Study

Original portrait study of a classic - if overweight - helmeted ogre/troll - likely inspired by Tolkien-like ogres and orcs, and likely completed during a period when he was obsessively creating portrait studies, c. 2015-2018. It's a very entertaining depiction, a finished study in oil and acrylic on stretched canvas, 16" x 12" and is signed bottom right under the ogre's chin. I show two photos, trying to get the background color right - it's somewhere between gold and orange!
