Romas Kukalis: Morning Star Prelim "A"

Original full color study prepared for a planned commission, to be based on the 1910 H. Rider Haggard's historical novel with fantasy elements, "Morning Star"  It's a classic tale of adventure and romance, telling the life of a powerful heroine in ancient Egypt, from her royal birth to her eventual maturation and Romas produced two studies depicting a similar scene - showing "Tua" (Morning Star) the only child and heir of the Pharaoh, using wizardry and magic to summon the gods.  Labeled' "A" prelim 5" x 6.75" in acrylics on illustration board, titled and signed "Romas" on the reverse.
