This is the original painting created by Walter Velez (1939-2018) for the frontispiece of the Easton Press edition of Gregory Benford's novel, book #1 in the Second Foundation series, 1997.  This special edtion was limited to  a press run of 1,100 individually numbered copies with "Artwork by Walter Velez" on title page, and the frontispiece was also signed in each copy.  Handpainted in  acrylics on canvas, 24" x 16" and  signed.
