This is the original painting created by Walter Velez (1939-2018) for the frontispiece of the special Easton Press edition of Stephen Baxter's science fiction novel, the first volume in his "Time's Tapestry" series, 2006.  "An epic series of counter-factual historical thrillers with a plot that weaves a story over a thousand years in the making."  Handpainted in acrylics on stretched canvas, 20" x 15" and signed.
